There was always something wonderfully radio-serial about Darkwing Duck, from the thematically-named opponents to the ease in which it could float among whichever genre's tropes were needed to accomplish the story at hand. Capturing that feel would make any adventure work well, but if you'd like a thread to start with, what might happen to a Darkwing Duck-style adventure if the narration really did take on that radio-serial idea, and perhaps became audible for one or another character during the adventure?
If that's not something you want, that's great - a story about balancing the cape and normal life, or one where Launchpad becomes scarily competent, or any other sort of story will be a good one. Take the idea and go with it.

There have to have been plenty more improbable attempts to take over the world than what we saw in the few seasons there were. In this particular case, if you had a plan based on a pun, or something where (as usual) Pinky grasps the essential flaw immediately, although he's not so great at expressing it, or, for once, they try doing it Pinky's way (and it works surprisingly well until Brain messes it up), any of those ideas would be great. You've probably got a good idea, too, so go with that.

Hitomi has always been my favorite character in the series, but there's an idea biting at the back of my head about who would be the character that could teach her the most about using the power and the crystal that she has, and eventually, I settled on Folken as being the most likely character. It could be presented as a temptation for Hitomi to join Zaibach to learn more (after Folken has provided her with some accurate information), or in a different narrative where Folken is not as strongly antagonistic, or even an agent in Zaibach. The idea, though, is essentially "Folken tells Hitomi about her powers and the Atlantean crystal she has." Take that where you would like to go with it.
If that's not the idea you would like to use, it seemed to me like Folken genuinely cared for his Luck Soldiers beyone what they could do for him as the Strategos, and they cared similarly for him. Since it's not their story, of course, we don't get to see how that relationship developed, was tested, stood up to Dornkirk, or other things that happened in Zaibach. If you have a story about those three, it would be a delight to receive it. Go with what you have in mind.

G'Kar & Londo Mollari G'Kar/Londo Mollari

I hesitate to describe them as "those two clowns," because neither of them was particularly the comic relief, but a lot of the funniest moments of B5 happened when G'kar and Londo got to play off of each other (and demonstrate that, perhaps, beneath their gruff official antagonism, they care for and like each other.) Something that leans into the fact that G'kar and Londo have known each other for a very long time and can dance their particular pas de deux with their eyes closed and no music would be great. It can be gen or shippy, either way. Maybe contrast it with how the war is resumed and how it seems to have shattered both of them into disbelief that the Centauri Empire would do what they did there. Or not. Your call.

As you might guess from this cluster, Pilot was my most favorite character on board Moya, and as such, anything that you write that has to do with Pilot's interactions with the ship and crew will be delightful, I like the every so slightly frazzled and affectionately grumpy kind of Pilot, unless you go with Pilot and Moya by themselves, where I think Pilot would be more reverent or content or something that reflects the deepness of the bond that Pilot has with the ship. Slice-of-life or deep philosophical discussions are equally welcome in this idea, so if you're thinking it, it's a good idea.

I am enamored of the Piemaker and the two women who seem to be chasing him in their original or reanimated lives. The stylistic decisions of the show resonated with me, so if you can get those parts into the work, that would make a good thing even better. I would prefer, as guidance, happy poly without jealousy among the three, but that doesn't mean that having to make accommodations for Chuck and the Piemaker has to be friictionless. Just a lot of getting along and trying to work things through so that everyone gets the thing they want out of the relationship. (Or in the story of them getting together. It doesn't have to be established poly, either.)

Cats are present at a surprising number of important events, if not the direct cause of them, in the narrative of the game. So, a story from the perspective of the cats, or a story about how Janus and Alfador got along as Janus grew up and became Magus, bent-on-revenge-on-Lavos, would be a neat perspective not usually covered.
If that's not to your taste, I'm always curious about life and family relationships in Zeal, and Janus and Schala are the perfect pair to showcase this. Whatever it is that you have a burning desire to write about for life in Zeal, if it's something that either of them (or both of them) would be exposed to, that would be a great read.

This prompt is based in one fact and one interpretation: you can pull up any spell of any quantity in Selphie's Limit Break, and while she puts on a cheerful demeanor, Selphie is bar-none the bloodthirstiest of all of the fighting party, evidenced when her sense of humor gets out or someone suggests a thing and Selphie has the killiest version available as her preferred way of going about it.
I'm not entirely sure how that endears her to Irvine, but it must, given how much he flirts with her and that she gets jealous over him in the canon. Maybe you can fill in the details? Or perhaps it's not endearing, but Selphie isn't about to let something like horror at her humor stop her from getting the cowboy that she wants. (Not that she'd do anything too drastic - scaring them and scaring them off are two different things.)
If this doesn't work for you, but you have a Selphie/Irvine story you wanted to tell, you can do that, as well. The above is just a suggestion.
