I'm okay with considering the anime as a separate canon from the manga. Taking only the tv series into consideration, it falls way under the ten year mark.

If someone wants to also nominate the manga, I would like to hear your reasoning why you feel the new chapters shouldn't disqualify it! (General you, not you personally, anon.)
